Most of us remember the disturbing case of ex-NFL star Michael Vick’s dog fighting ring and the subsequent confiscation of the surviving Pit Bulls. Thousands of people have donated their time and money to rescue and rehabilitate the surviving dogs. I think it is safe to say that this story has touched the hearts of all of us dog lovers.

Now, there is a new way these dogs are being honored. The Vicktory Dogs Wine Collection features portraits of 22 dogs rescued for the dog fighting ring. The wines are available through the Dog Lovers Wine Club, and 10% of each sale goes to the Best Friends Animal Society.

I am so glad to see a happy ending to this tragic story. These dogs deserved better and fortunately they got it!
