Happy Halloween to you all!!!!Take care of your dogs, keep them safe on Halloween night.. They do get scared….

Here is a Little story I came across while surfing the net and Im sharing it with you all because it made alot of sense that is DOGCENTS to me and Im hoping it will make the same kind of sense to all of you. Besides I think it will put a smile on your face and I love puting smiles on people’s faces, so I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did when I read it. 7 am - Oh boy! A walk! My favorite!

8 am - Oh boy! Dog food! My favorite!

I Came across this article on guy-sports.com on the internet “its a Dog’s Life “and right away it caught my attention because there was a time when this phrase was used it meant that we were in a bad way. It meant we were not doing so good! It meant life was not good! and that everything was turning out wrong nothing would turn out the way you wanted it to.; Each day was worse then the one before so this is why we said “its a Dog’s Life cause then dogs didn’t have it so easy! Dogs were not dressed up in little cute frilly outfits are leather collars with diamonds . Dogs diid not have soft fluffy beds to sleep in,Or cute clean pretty bowls or dishes to eat their dog food out of andl most dogs slept outside in the cold and rain, And now dogs even sleep in the same bed as their masters! OOPS!! I forgot we don’t even use the word Master anymorel.. Now its Dog Lovers or Dog owners or even Family.(which by the way I prefer those then Master) Nowadays if your living a Dog’s life you have it good!! OOH do not get me wrong their are still alot of dogs out there who still need our help and love and we should give it But what I mean is that Phrase does not have quite the same meaning now then it used to.. SMILE…I read the origin of the catchphrase ‘It’s a Dog’s Life’ is obscure. One of the earliest popular reference is Charlie Chaplin’s 1918 film called ‘A Dog’s Life’. There is also a well known 1955 film by Herman Hoffman, this title include the It’s - ‘It’s a Dog’s Life’.

The phrase is so evocative of the downtrodden hero, that it’s perfect for Charles M. Schulz’s Snoopy. It’s a dog’s life has also inspired music and also T.V. episodes of popular programs such as ‘Murder She Wrote’.

HOWEVER, nowadays, dogs have it cushy, they live indoors are pampered with dog food, and even get their own dog basket. In consequence the young generation are perplexed by the saying, ‘It’s a dogs life’.

Bakery for dogs opens in Paris (True Story)
An award-winning pastry chef has opened a bakery that caters only for dogs in Paris. Mon Bon Chien sells bacon biscuits in the shape of a cat and bone-shaped cookies made of foie gras, reports the BBC.

The owner is Harriet Sternstein who moved to Paris from the US with her dog Sophie-Marie. Sophie-Marie provided the inspiration for the new business for her owner, who decided the best way to make a living was to combine her biggest enthusiasms - pastries and pets.

‘Everything is made in the back of the boutique, ’said Ms Sternstein, ‘Every day, I make 200 to 300 biscuits and special orders are taken on a daily basis.

‘The Parisians come to the bakery and the first time they think it’s very funny and they look at it, and buy the ones that they think are the cutest. Then the dogs come back and choose which flavours they like the best.

Why is it that my heart is so touched whenever I meet a dog lost in our noisy streets? Why do I feel such anguished pity when I see one of these creatures coming and going, sniffing everyone, frightened, despairing of even finding its master? I have a great dog. She’s half lab, half pit bull and good combination. Sure, she might bite off my leg, but she’ll bring it back. Dogs are lousy poker players. When they get a good hand they wag their tails. Im going to share a funny story I was told the other day and I hope you will get a kick out of it like I did.. ” The other day I went to the movies, and in the front row was an old man and with him was his dog. It was a sad funny kind of film. In the sad part, the dog cried his eyes out, and in the funny kind part, the dog laughed its head off. This happened all the way through the movie. After the movie had ended, I decided to go and speak to the man. That’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen,” I said. ” That dog really seemed to enjoy the movie. ” The man turned to me and said, ” Yeah, he did, but He hated the book.”
